No country wants to engage in another war, especially in that region. A war is waged with a leader or leaders united in the cause and not afraid to often take questions, admit mistakes, but continuously go befor the people with updates.

Those working to take care of the elderly need to make a decent wage because it is a very trying job. The burnout must be enormous. Perhaps a higher standard of workers will be encouraged to take these jobs. BTW, this is true of childcare as well.

Employers hire when that new hire can pay for itself. So let us say you start a bake shop. At first you do all the work. When exhaustion takes over because demand is increasing, another human is hired and thus the profit is shared. We started with 1 employee. We now have 30. We had no choice.

I live in WI. Our summers can be pretty dry. Over the past decade most years have been very dry. That has hurt crops that need lots of water like corn. So unfortunately our dumb government has offered farmers a rich subsidy to finance irrigation system.

In reply to: MLNW-1795048 #1.21 invading Afghanistan to take out the camps, was the right decision. However nation building by both Bush and Obama is futile. Invading Iraq to take out a dictator was wrong no matter the intentions. Bush was naive again to think democracy was possible.
